In March 2008 South-West solicitors, Porter Dodson, needed a new printing solution for their Taunton office when the users moved from individual to workgroup printing.
They opted for our original printing product, Kupris for Microsoft Word, in order to smooth the transition for their users. Although the implementation was successful, by April 2009, they found the solution became more and more unwieldy on their Citrix systems in Yeovil.
They had been kept informed about our new, multi-application, page printing system, Kappris and asked if we could bring forward our Citrix testing in order to get their printing back up to speed. We had our work cut out for us and it was tough dealing with Porter Dodson's use of Citrix Published Applications rather than full desktop. However, the project began in mid-May and was fully operational by mid-June 2009.
The Taunton users love the difference in speed and reliability of the new printing system. They now have control over how all their other applications are printing, not just Word, and they're looking forward to the impending release of Kappris' Outlook integration.
